Peppa Pig’s Summer of Sport

I think for my kids seeing their Dad turned into a Peppa Pig character is the best thing I've ever done! I'm so proud to be part of this campaign because youth fitness is a subject very close to my heart. If we can get more kids out there having fun being active and inspired by the Olympics then that would be amazing!

In Summer 2021 we helped eOne amplify awareness of Peppa Pig’s Summer of Sport youth fitness initiative with Team GB and Twinkl to get young children moving ahead of the 2021 Olympics. Our goal was to position Peppa Pig as an ambassador for health and fitness by securing national media coverage with our campaign spokesperson Greg Rutherford. As a gold medal winning athlete, household name and father of three, Greg was perfectly positioned to endorse Peppa’s Summer of Sport  and direct families and education providers to download the video and activity assets available on Twinkl featuring Greg and Peppa together.

The campaign achieved an overall reach of 9.9 million thanks to interviews secured on national TV outlets including BBC Morning Live and Sky News plus press interviews with Funday Times, the Sunday Times kids supplement, the Sunday Express and 7 radio stations. Reaction to the initiative was overwhelmingly positive with an 18% engagement rate on Greg’s social channels and 100% positive sentiment.
