An Extra-ordinary Screening for E.T.’s 40th Anniversary

In October 2022, we helped take Universal’s 40th anniversary celebrations of E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial to another world on social with fun and engaging influencer content.

Specially selected London based influencers were invited to attend an exclusive 80’s nostalgic themed screening event at the Prince Charles cinema in London, to introduce the next generation of E.T. fans to this much-loved film and promote exclusive merchandise released for the anniversary. Influencers were given a trademark red hoodie and light up finger on arrival at the event, before grabbing some fantastic content on the iconic BMX bike with E.T. in tow and stepping back in time to the video rental store themed foyer.

LtPR’s invited influencers generated 43 pieces of fantastic and unique content, totalling 35 stories, 6 grid posts and 2 reels from 7 influencers, with a total reach of 626k.
