We manage PR for some of the leading children’s entertainment and toy properties across a client roster that includes Universal Studios, Warner Bros, Hasbro’s eOne and Jazwares working on brands including Peppa Pig, Trolls, Jurassic World, Squishmallows, Octonauts, Elmer the Elephant and The Very Hungry Caterpillar.

About the Role

Background: Your 2 years+ experience at a digital agency or in-house digital team will have given you extensive knowledge of the UK social media landscape working across platforms like Tik Tok, YouTube, Facebook and Instagram to drive content creation and direct online product sales. An understanding of how to position brands on social media and allocate advertising to engage effectively with the right audiences is crucial. Retail driven social campaigns are an increasingly important part of our consumer PR offering, so the chosen candidate will ideally have experience of driving footfall to retail in-store and online.

Duties: Responsible for creating social strategy and content ideas across multiple influencer outreach campaigns including paid advertising campaigns. The ideal candidate will be passionate about all things social so that they’re up-to-date on the latest digital technologies and social media trends.

You’ll have an instinct for selecting the right influencers for each campaign with the help of our Wearisma software and picking the best platforms for activity. You will enjoy diving deep into engagement rates and audiences to put together campaigns with compelling themes that resonate with consumers and position our clients’ brands in the best possible light. You’ll know the best methods and software for evaluating results and be able to present these stats back to clients in data driven and comprehensive reports.

Creativity: Your creativity will be put to good use contributing to campaign ideas and narrative themes for our outreach campaigns and your copywriting skills will produce thoughtful and compelling briefs and captions.

Agency social: In addition to driving the social strategy of our consumer campaigns, under the supervision of a Junior Account Manager you’ll also have the ability to shape the agency’s own social channels to increase our following, create interesting content and engage with our followers.

Experience in retail marketing, youth, toy or entertainment sectors would be a distinct advantage although full training will be given and a genuine interest in the work that we do is imperative.  Given that the initial months in this role may be spent working remotely until we’re all back in the office, we need someone who can hit the ground running and effectively prioritise their own workload.
