Following the success of our Beano 2014 Fathers' Day celebrity seeding activity - which saw Ben Shephard ask could The Beano Farting Football be 'the greatest toy ever?' - we celebrated the launch of The Beano 2015 annual by engaging with a number of high-profile celeb Beano fans. This again resulted in a number of fantastic results including Jessica Ennis-Hill posting an adorable picture of her son Reggie reading the annual and this was then used in her Telegraph magazine Instagram round-up! We also achieved a mention on the Jonathan Ross show from Frank Skinner.
Other recent successes include Myleene Klass tweeting a picture of herself wearing the Very Hungry Caterpillar for World Book Day 2014 and her daughter Hero-Harper was also later spotted wearing the costume on the school run. Kirsty Gallacher wished Elmer a happy 25th anniversary on twitter and Sophie Ellis-Bextor told us how much her son will love the Peppa Pig goodies we sent. Not to forget out early successes of personally hand delivered Superman t-shirts to One Direction who were then papped wearing them!
